Old Business
Dave Berto was unable to attend tonight’s meeting, but sent an update stating that he is working to answer DECD’s questions regarding the Housing Authorities application. R. Campbell said he will meet with Mr. Berto and First Selectwoman Mailhos and then they will all meet with Mr. Wagner about the EDI grant including procurement, what has been done and what needs to be done. R. Campbell said that the Housing Authority must follow all EDI requirements, so they must look into how the engineer and consultant for the project were originally hired. R. Campbell said he will get EDI guidelines from Mr. Wagner. R. Campbell said he will also look into whether the meeting minutes can serve as documentation of the procurement process. R. Campbell reminded the board that
Mr. Berto is not under contract as of yet for the cottage project.
R. Campbell told the board members that he sent information to Mr. Berto regarding directors and officers insurance. C. D’Agata said that she would like to move quickly in obtaining the insurance.
R. Campbell told the board that Mr. Wagner had a meeting with First Selectwoman Mailhos and the board was not notified. He said he will make sure that they are notified from now on if anyone is meeting regarding the cottages.
